Pemanfaatan Web Usage Mining Untuk Peningkatan Penjualan Pada United Tractors

Abstract

Along with the increasingly rapid access using the internet, either using a computer or smartphone device, it has an impact on the growth of online trading which has increased drastically. Many e-commerce sites have emerged, creating dynamic competition between them to attract as many consumers as possible. This problem, the basic technique used is the data mining technique, namely to evaluate data, and is supported by the query-based web usage mining method, this method is used to analyze data on the web. Web Usage Mining has the advantage of exploring data/content patterns available on the web. The analysis includes arranging the distribution of sales stock from the company, reports on sales results on a period scale, reports on the best-selling items on the market based on area or supplier per period, accumulation of visitors based on period. Seasonal sales data obtained from the web data collection is used to determine the company's sales potential which is then transformed into a graph to support the sales process.From the explanation above, this study analyzes sales and market share of a product in an online store based on consumer purchases, visits to the web, which are then concluded into data that can be further explored to support sales analysis.
